We were privileged to have Brandon Love come and share his knowledge and thoughts with a group of excited and enthusiastic university students. In the coming weeks, these students would embark on adventures all over North America volunteering and learning. Brandon was the perfect person to inspire these students and to share his knowledge and past experiences. Brandon used a unique combination of magic, interactive activities, and intriguing tidbits of information to keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats throughout the whole performance. Brandon Love prepared and delivered a keynote address to a group of student participants of our 2010 Reading Week service-learning trips. These students were attending this training afternoon as pre-departure training in preparation for a week of service in one of four locations; Hamilton, Arkansas, Winnipeg and Mexico. We had asked Mr. Love to speak to our group because we wanted them to connect personally to their experiences and we wanted to inspire their sense of curiosity as they began their journeys. What speaker could accomplish this better than the 'Student Of Wonder'?
We were very pleased with Mr. Love's keynote address. Mr. Love is a dynamic, fascinating, funny and thought provoking speaker. His keynote was interactive and engaging- getting the participants to take part in discussions, activities and even magic tricks! There was never a dull moment during our keynote with Brandon Love! He covered all of the theme areas we asked him to, weaving together a cohesive message that was both useful and inspiring to our students. I really appreciated Mr. Love's skills and abilities as a storyteller- showing how he has learned from personal experiences- exactly what we were asking our trip participants to do.
Overall I was very impressed with Brandon Love as a speaker and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thought provoking, energetic speaker.
